Valley of Fire Nevada State Park is spectacular State Park with rock formations and colors that blossom into sight as you visit. Unusual sandstone formations have eroding into animal and other fantastic forms. The rocks invite adults and children to rumble over them and there are a rainbow of colors that paint the park so bring a camera. There are a series of areas that are can't be missed. Take the road that circles through the camping area near Arch Rock. You will view the sand stone formations with amazing forms and colors. Then proceed past the Visitor Center to the Mouse Tanks parking area. Walk the trail to the pictographs that the Anasazi have left for you. Continue on the road to White Domes through the unique vibrantly rock colors. Valley of Fire is about one hour drive north on I 15. Take the Valley of Fire exit at the Moapa Reservation. Continue for a half an hour on the two lane state route 169 south to the Park.
