Bryce
Canyon National Park
is renowned
for its extensive pink hoodoos. The rock spires extend for
miles along the western slope of the Colorado plateau. The hoodoos
take forms that will excite your imagination. The Park has
great walks along the rim of the canyon and easy hikes that will allow you
immerse yourself within the spires Bryce
Canyon is
located a short distance from US 89 (this road will take you to many sights from
Grand Canyon to Yellowstone). From Las Vegas take Interstate 15 north to Cedar
City Utah. View the map to view the series of state routes to
89. Once on 89, use Utah route 12 to a whole series of parks
including Bryce. Near the entrance to Bryce are a series of motels
and restaurants but there is alternative lodging all along route 12.
